Water Conduits Cleaning Project Accelerated

Jakarta Dept. of Water Management keeps improving water conduits on several roads in the capital. The improvement is done by cleaning waste which disturbing the channel.
It is still running everyday
Teguh Hendrawan, head of agency, admitted mostly water conduits in Jakarta were filled with waste. This condition leads to puddle during rainy season. Since early December 2015, his side has started this project.
“It is still running everyday,” he said, Monday (5/9).
Water Conduit on Jalan Bidara STIP Marunda DredgedThe project is run in five city administration areas such as on road in front of Trisakti and Tarumanegara University, West Jakarta. Jalan Pramuka and Jalan Pemuda East Jakarta.
“In South Jakarta are on Jalan Panglima Polim and Arteri Pondok Indah. In Central Jakarta are on Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan and Sudirman Thamrin. In North Jakarta are on Jalan Yos Sudarso and Kelapa Gading,” he explained.
The cleaning project is done by PPSU personnel.
